Spring Cleaning & Organizing
It's that time of year again! Every Spring I get this overwhelming desire to clean and organize. This weekend I plan on tackling JD's very messy room. JD has managed to acquire so many toys in the last couple years that we honestly even have unopened toys stored away. So tonight I'll be stopping by IKEA and picking up a few much needed storage items! I'm really excited about using the VESSLA storage crates. These large crates are stackable (when used with lids) and they have casters, so they'll be easy for JD to wheel around his room. The RIBBA picture ledge is one of my personal favorites, they're perfect for frames and storing books, click here to see. The BYGEL hooks (placed at toddler height) will make it easy for JD to hang up his sweaters and backpack, instead of hanging them on the door... which drives me crazy. Have you started Spring cleaning yet?

Dinosaur Birthday Party Invitation
I'm so excited, JD's 3rd birthday and dinosaur birthday party are less then a month away! I don't plan on posting too many party details until after his party (I want to keep an element of surprise), but I did want to share a few photos of the invitations. I love making invitations and feel that they should make the person receiving it feel excited and enthusiastic about attending the party! I started designing the invites a few months ago and once all the supplies came in, they were not only easy but so fun to create. Here's a sneak peek!

RASKOG Kitchen Cart
I love IKEA! Sometimes their designers come up with products that I can almost swear were created just for me. I came across the RASKOG Kitchen Cart a few weeks ago and I've been giddy ever since. This cart is a cook, bakers, crafters, and organizers dream come true, for only $49.99. Personally I would love one in every room, but I doubt I can come up with a good enough reason for hubby agree. So, I think I'll just stick to one for now. Here in California the gray cart seems to be the only one they have in stock (which I'll take), but I'm hoping that the turquoise cart comes to town soon! What would you use it for?!

Room With a View Dog House
Although Bailey is an inside dog, she does spend part of the day out in the backyard doing what dogs do best; digging, running, chasing birds and eating random things she finds laying around. So we've been looking into getting her a little dog house. My friend Monica recently bought her babies (two super cute puggles) a really cool dog house with a deck and we thought that something similar would be great for Bailey! Today I received my daily email from The Foundry (where you can buy exclusive furniture & decor at up to 70% off) and they have the Room With a View Dog House for $55 plus $5.95 shipping. At that price, we didn't think twice about ordering it. The Foundry currently has great deals on dog houses and accessories, but their events only last a couple of days, so click here to sign up and check out their amazing offers. We should be receiving Bailey's new dog house in a couple days, we hope she loves it!
Retail: $167.00
The Foundry: $55.00

Boneless Buffalo Wings
I tend to go through these food craving phases where I only want to eat very specific foods. This month I've been hooked on spicy food, the spicier the better. A couple weeks ago I really wanted boneless buffalo wings, but when I finally ordered some from a well known wing place, I was so disappointed (they were so salty and over-battered). So instead, I decided to try making boneless buffalo wings myself. I came across this easy, 5 star recipe here and got to frying. The recipe was even easier than I imagined to follow (especially because we own a fryer) and the wings were really good. My craving was definitely satisfied and now I have a new appetizer to share with our friends and family!
