15" Gumball Machine for 12 Bucks!
I've been searching for a vintage looking gumball machine for a couple of weeks now for a little party project I'm working on; I didn't want to spend too much, not only because I have a 21 month old who might get a hold of it, but because I also plan on altering it a bit. I checked a few different places, but in the end my good old friend Craigslist came through! I found this 15" Gumball Machine on Craigslist for $12 in almost new condition! Hubby and I picked it up this afternoon and it's perfect, now we just need a whole bunch of gumballs, oh and coins!

No More Bare Walls!
The wall space above our sectional has been a bit of a sore subject in our home; whenever family comes over, the first thing they ask (Mom) is when we're going to hang pictures and art. So this weekend one of my many projects was to hang the two really pretty frames I purchased last week at Jo-Ann's on sale!

TPPM: Creatology Robot Paper Shapes
This past week was an amazing "party finds" week! I found two great additions to JD's Robots & Rockets birthday party at Michaels Craft Store and a few other things online that should be here any day now. JD's 2nd birthday party is going to be a small party at our new home and most of the children attending will be around his same age, so I wanted to find a little craft project that would be fun and easy for toddlers. I was thinking of a build your on robot station, but was still working out the kinks when I came across these really cool Creatology Robot Paper Shapes at Michaels. The robots are 11.5 inches tall, made of cardboard and can be colored, painted, decorated and traced. Each package contains 12 robots and cost $2.99 per package, but with my 50% coupon I got each package for about $1.60, practically a steal!

Revolving Robots and Gears Box
Have you ever become totally obsessed with something and no matter how much you try not to think about it, you can't! Well, when I started planning JD's robot room I came across this really awesome wood Revolving Robots & Gears Box and I fell completely in love with it, I not only wanted for his room but I also thought it would be a great décor piece for his Robots & Rockets birthday party. I searched everywhere for it but it was either sold out or extremely expensive. This week I received an email from Ebay letting me know about items I might be interested in (based on my recent searches and purchases) and there it was again, that Robot Box (still expensive too)! I decided to Google it again while crossing my fingers and I found it at Amazon.com, it was the last one available and it was on sale for $48.99, yippee; so I bought it and I've been giddy ever since; I can't wait until JD sees it, he just loves “Wobots”!
Seven colorful gears and two robots simultaneously spin in this masterful Rocket Factory. Hit the switch on the rocket’s back and this all wooden factory goes into action. A special and beautiful Space Age toy for your Rocket Fan or Robot Factory worker. The rocket is blue with yellow, red, and yellow moving gears on a space base.

Our Entryway
I finally had a chance to take a few pictures of our entryway, especially since the lighting in our living room was perfect this weekend! I'm really enjoying making inspiration boards and seeing the final outcome makes the whole process very satisfying. Here is our newly decorated entryway; I still haven't added the frames I've purchased but hopefully I'll get to them soon. If you like the inspiration boards stay tuned I have a few more projects on the way; including JD's Robot Room and Hubby's Home Office!
You can see our Entryway Inspiration Board here.

TPPM: Big Round Balloons
I have always loved balloons and my love of balloons has definitely rubbed off on JD, he goes crazy over them. For his 1st birthday we had tons of balloons as part of his party decor and he really loved them. I have recently become completely obsessed with big round balloons; so this year for JD's 2nd birthday party I ordered about a dozen of these 36 inch round balloons in lime green and red, I can't wait until he sees them!

These big round balloons will also be available at my Etsy shop Quaintly Amusing in a couple of weeks!
