In my search for Robot Decor for JD's big boy room, I came across these really cute robot scrapbooking papers and accessories from My Mind's Eye and they were just to adorable to pass up. I wasn't exactly sure what I would use them for but I have a few ideas, including a 2nd Birthday Party theme for JD. Aren't they sooo cute!

Target makes dinner easy...
I don't actually know anyone who doesn't likeTarget, even my husband likes them (he actually never complains when I say we're going to Target)! Target makes life easy, anything you can possible need, especially last minute you can find at Target. So now that they sell produce, I personally love them even more. Here are some of my produce favorites from Target.
Target now makes dinner easy too!

JD is cruising in style...
When the hubby and I first found out we were having a boy, I was kind of in shock (all of my closest friends had girls); I knew nothing about boys or how to dress them and I especially didn't know anything about toys for boys, but I imagined I had plenty of time to learn. A few months into my pregnancy while browsing online for cute boy stuff I came across the Radio Flyer Steer & Stroll Sport Coupe and I immediately pictured my little boy happily riding around in it! For months I carried a picture of the coupe in my phone and in a way it seemed to reassure me that having a boy would be a wonderful adventure and it really has been. I planned on buying JD the coupe for his 1st birthday, but the hubby insisted we wait until we had a little more room. So, after cleaning out JD's closet and putting all his baby stuff in storage last weekend, I thought it was about time to buy him that little coupe that I pictured him riding in, even before he was born!

My New Camera: Nikon D5000
I finally bought my first DSLR camera! After spending tons of time researching and comparing not only prices but camera features I decided to purchase a Nikon D5000, sorry Canon lovers, I'm officially a Nikon girl.
Well, since I'm not that experienced at using a DSLR (yet) I started off by purchasing the basics and B&H Photo and Video not only made this purchase easy but also affordable, so much so that I've already started my wishlist with them (hint-hint)!
Well, since I'm not that experienced at using a DSLR (yet) I started off by purchasing the basics and B&H Photo and Video not only made this purchase easy but also affordable, so much so that I've already started my wishlist with them (hint-hint)!
Here are some of the many features that I personally love about the Nikon D5000:
- 12.3Mp DX-format CMOS image sensor High-resolution imaging sensor for sharp images and the ability to output poster-size prints.
- Vari-angle LCD The Nikon D5000 is the first Nikon DSLR to offer a Vari-angle, 230,000-dot color LCD that allows you to compose still and video images from most any angle and shooting position.
- 19 Auto-exposure Scene Modes Choose among 19 pre-set exposure modes designed to deliver optimum perfect exposures under a variety of common shooting situations, including a Food Scene Mode.
- Advanced Auto-Focus Modes The Nikon D5000 incorporates an 11-point AF system with Nikon 3D Focus Tracking and advanced Face Detection to ensure the sharpest possible pictures.
- Low-noise ISO sensitivity Low-noise images can be captured under the most challenging of lighting conditions at ISO ratings ranging from a native 200 through 3200, and can be expanded from 100 through 6400 when needed.

Aquarium of the Pacific
After spending most of the weekend cleaning out JD's closet (exhausting), we really needed to get out the house and have some fun! Today we headed to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, California and spent the day chasing JD around the aquarium; he was so excited, especially when he saw all the Nemos and Dorys!
