I’m always looking for ways to save money and when I started to come across Target's up & up products last year, I thought why not give them a try and see just how much I could save. One of the up & up products that I was surprised and delighted to find was prenatal vitamins. I was still spending $30 a month on my prescription prenatal vitamins after having JD and after comparing them to the up & up brand, the only difference I found was in the price.
up & up Prenatal Vitamin Combo Pack
$8.09
This weekend I decided to try up & up’s Laundry Detergent and Fabric Softener. After testing both products on our towels , I was pretty impressed, our towels were fluffy and smelled great and for almost half the price of washing them with the name brand products I was using a week ago!
up & up Fabric Softener
$3.99
up & up Laundry Detergent
$8.99
So, if you’re looking for a way to save money on that monthly or in my case weekly trip to Target, try their up & up products, you may be surprised! If you have your own up & up favorites or non-favorites, please feel free to leave a comment telling us all about them!

I haven't tried the detergents yet. But I have bought the Prenatal dietary supplements, the bottle, not the combo pack. And the toilet paper, that's my fave! I had to switch, because my house runs through toilet paper, like you wouldn't believe!! What is the detergent, compared to?
Their prenatal vitamins are definitely a bargain; I think I’ll try the toilet paper soon too! I was using Gain before I tried up & up and it seems to about the same, just a few bucks cheaper, I wouldn’t say it’s up there with Tide, but then again I think I stopped using Tide when I started having to do 3 times more laundry! Lol
Hmmm...maybe I'll try it. I don't know what I'm thinking, cause I'm still using Tide and I got 5x the laundry. What the heck is wrong with me!?!? LOL.....Thanks for the tip!
I so love the up&up products... then again Target is my favorite everything store.. I use from trash bags, zip lock bags, detergent, body wash and face wash.. much more to post.. they quality is just as close to the brand products... I love to save money.. and thats the way to go.. I definately need to look into the prenate vitamins... Thanks Adri, your bloggs are so helpful for the busy mommy on the GO!
I've been using the fabric softener for a while, since before the name change. I have not tried the detergent, but will definately check it out. Another product I used to use when my kids were little, believe it or not was their diapers. I switched to them when my older kids were in their "potty training" stage and was suprised on how well they held up. I also used their baby lotion and baby wipes. This was years ago, so not sure if the quality has changed.
@Jeannette, I so loved Tide when I was single, but now I’m on a “monthly budget,” LOL! They actually have Baby Detergent too, but I haven’t tried it yet, because buying Dreft alone will make a family go broke!
@Isela, Thanks Chica! Oh ya, you just reminded me I also buy their fem wash and apricot scrub too and I have no complaints! We are Targetholic's, LOL!
@Vero, I really like their softener, doesn’t it smells great! I’m thinking of trying the wipes, but the diapers I might wait till “potty training” too, because I’ve tried a few different brands and Pampers seems to work best for us right now. When they re-launched the brand, they also claimed to have upped the quality, so far I’ve been pleased!
I did go to Target this morning and sniffed all the detergents :)..hehe and so I'm giving this a try. I hope it works on my hubby's work clothes (that's the real challenge!). I did see the baby detergent. I'm hesitant, since I've been a faithful Dreft user since 1999. If you try it let me know how it goes.
LOL, I did the same thing before I bought it! Well, I wish you luck with the work clothes! Ya, I think I'll be sitting in the aisle comparing baby detergent ingredients before I give up Dreft too, it's so much harder to go generic when it comes to our monkeys.
