I’m so excited, Julie & Julia is out on DVD and Blu-ray today (you can also watch it On Demand and PPV). I absolutely love this film and if you’re a Foodie like me, you’ll love it too. My sisters-in-law (also Foodies), my mom and I, all went to see this film together, when it first came out; we laughed, we cried, we oohed and awed. This film is cute, funny and wonderfully romantic. I recommend watching it with someone who shares a love of food, on a full stomach, with a glass of wine.
"A culinary legend provides a frustrated office worker with a new recipe for life in Julie & Julia, the true stories of how Julia Child's (Meryl Streep) life and cookbook inspired fledgling writer Julie Powell (Amy Adams) to whip up 524 recipes in 365 days."
Boundless love: Streep and Tucci as the Childs
Modern love: Adams and Messina as the Powells
Meryl Streep as Julia Child
